 Hindu Genocide - The Largest Ongoing holocaust in the history of mankind

Today Bollywood sold outs are showing solidarity for Rafah by posting banners on their SM handles, but same pimps never talked about Hindu genocide of the Bharat be it Mughals massacres, Moplah massacre, Noakhali Riots, Partition riots, 1971 Bangla Hindu genocide, 1990 Kashmiri Hindu genocide, Ram Mandir Kar Sevak genocide or Godhra carnage!!

Let's turn the pages of history to revice the gory memories of Hindu genocide which started 1500 years ago by Mohammad Bin Tughlaq's invasion of Sindh, and it is still going on!!

The genocide suffered by the Hindus and Sikhs of India at the hands of Arab, Turkish, Mughal and Afghan occupying forces for a period of 800 years is as yet formally unrecognised by the World. The only similar genocide in the recent past was that of the Jewish people at the hands of the Nazis. The holocaust of the Hindus in India was of even greater proportions, the only difference was that it continued for 800 years, till the brutal regimes were effectively overpowered in a life and death struggle by the Sikhs in the Punjab and the Hindu Maratha armies in other parts of India in the late 1700’s. We have elaborate literary evidence of the World’s biggest holocaust from existing historical contemporary eyewitness accounts. The historians and biographers of the invading armies and subsequent rulers of India have left quite detailed records of the atrocities they committed in their day-to-day encounters with India’s Hindus.

2. The Scale

These contemporary records boasted about and glorified the crimes that were committed – and the genocide of tens of millions of Hindus, mass rapes of Hindu women and the destruction of thousands of ancient Hindu / Buddhist temples and libraries have been well documented and provide solid proof of the World’s biggest holocaust. Dr. Koenraad Elst in his article “Was There an Islamic Genocide of Hindus?” states: “There is no official estimate of the total death toll of Hindus at the hands of Islam. A first glance at important testimonies by Muslim chroniclers suggests that, over 13 centuries and a territory as vast as the Subcontinent, Muslim Holy Warriors easily killed more Hindus than the 6 million of the Holocaust. Ferishtha lists several occasions when the Bahmani sultans in central India (1347-1528) killed a hundred thousand Hindus, which they set as a minimum goal whenever they felt like punishing the Hindus; and they were only a third-rank provincial dynasty. The biggest slaughters took place during the raids of Mahmud Ghaznavi (ca. 1000 CE); during the actual conquest of North India by Mohammed Ghori and his lieutenants (1192); and under the Delhi Sultanate (1206-1526).” if you read the Muslim historian account of Chach Nama by Abu Bakr Kufi, you will see how Muslim invaders rejoiced and reveled in the massacres of the kafirs (Hindus) and desecration of their idols and temples for enforcing sheer iconoclast to stamp the authority of the Islam!!!

3. The Historical account

Dr. Koenraad Elst also writes in his book “Negation in India”: “The Muslim conquests, down to the 16th century, were for the Hindus a pure struggle of life and death. Entire cities were burnt down and the populations massacred, with hundreds of thousands killed in every campaign, and similar numbers deported as slaves. Every new invader made (often literally) his hills of Hindus skulls. Thus, the conquest of Afghanistan in the year 1000 was followed by the annihilation of the Hindu population; the region is still called the Hindu Kush, i.e. Hindu slaughter.” Will Durant argued in his 1935 book “The Story of Civilisation: Our Oriental Heritage” (page 459): “The Mohammedan conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. The Islamic historians and scholars have recorded with great glee and pride the slaughters of Hindus, forced conversions, abduction of Hindu women and children to slave markets and the destruction of temples carried out by the warriors of Islam during 800 AD to 1700 AD. Millions of Hindus were converted to Islam by sword during this period.” Francois

in his book ‘Rewriting Indian History’ (1996) wrote: “The massacres perpetuated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the Holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks; more extensive even than the slaughter of the South American native populations by the invading Spanish and Portuguese.”

4. The Carnage

Writer Fernand Braudel wrote in A History of Civilisations (1995), that Islamic rule in India as a“colonial experiment” was “extremely violent”, and “the Muslims could not rule the country except by systematic terror. Cruelty was the norm – burnings, summary executions, crucifixions or impalements, inventive tortures. Hindu temples were destroyed to make way for mosques. On occasion there were forced conversions. If ever there were an uprising, it was instantly and savagely repressed: houses were burned, the countryside was laid waste, men were slaughtered and women were taken as slaves.”Alain Danielou in his book, Histoire de l’ Inde writes:“From the time Muslims started arriving, around 632 AD, the history of India becomes a long, monotonous series of murders, massacres, spoliations, and destructions. It is, as usual, in the name of ‘a holy war’ of their faith, of their sole God, that the barbarians have destroyed civilizations, wiped out entire races.”

5. The genocide

The exact number is very difficult to estimate. There is a difference in being killed in a war where the enemy is killed regardless of religion and targeted killings of Hindu civilians. Even in enslavement, the Muslim population was also targeted though Hindus predominated however this needs to be tempered with the understanding that enslavement was always accompanied by conversion to Islam (along with castration) as a requirement slave had no option to retain original religion. There is also the question of selective taxation causing higher loss of life in famines which were routine during Muslim rule. I am disregarding the famines. But let's try to give some small, detailed estimates and then try to determine the whole by adding them up. a. Plundering raids/victory celebration: 20 million b. Temple raids: 50 million c. Enslavement deaths: 100 million d. Punishment for rebellion butchery 60 million TOTAL 230 MILLION (conservative estimate) To compare Leftist historians argue that the Mongols killed 70 million over 200 years and enslaved a few millions. And that is considered the worst and they keep talking about it but they conveniently forget the horrors of Muslim rule in India.

6. Slavery

Slavery as practiced by the Delhi Sultanate was a not so slow - death. Men and women were worked to death within one or two years and were replaced when unable to work, after killing them off and buying new ones. Slavery was the worst form of genocide inflicted on Hindus. Usually the target converted as well. Slavery was mainly absent in India until the Muslims came, although some of the previous Central Asians (Scythians Parthians Kushans, Greeks, Huns) also enslaved a bit and some Hindu kings did a little bit of slavery, but in small numbers and nothing that even remotely compares to the horrors of Islamic slavery. The Persian empire raided India from 700 to 1000 AD and carried off about 10–20,000 slaves every year on average, mainly around Sind. Around half would perish in transport and of the remaining, 50–75% would have a horrible life and die early — to be replaced by the new slaves captured from repeated raids. 7. The count

From 1000 to 1200 AD the raids increased in number when the Ghaznavids started pillaging. The price of slaves fell because so many were carried off by the Muslims as written by chronicles of the age. The transported slaves died in greater numbers as well. So one can go with 50,000 carried off per annum, and so in 200 years, that comes to 10 million people. On some of the bigger raids more would be carried off, in between years less would be carried off. So let's halve the number to 5 million in 200 years again a conservative estimate. That gives us 8 million in 500 years even before the Islamic rule proper has started. To compare, there were a million slaves in India in 1848 - when slavery was abolished in India that's in just one year. So 8 million in 500 years is a very conservative estimate. India's population in Indus valley and Buddha's time was 5 million, 25 million in Mauryan times, 75 million in Gupta period and 125 million in Pala Empire period (700–1200 AD) which was a time of peace and prosperity. So the number of 8 million enslaved in 500 years is a lower conservative estimate and a small fraction of the population. Population fell to 60–75 million in various times in the Delhi sultanate period and only in the Mughal Empire population increased from 75 to 175 million. From 1200 to 1556, until Akbar's rule started, there was heavy slavery within India. The Afghans attacked the whole of the country which so far had been in relative peace. The Afghans are Warlords and their main activity was looting and pillaging, limited only by the small number of invaders compared to the large population. Since they ranged the length and breadth of the country and as rulers they kept slaves within India as well as exported them, extensive slavery was done. We can say around 5 million i.e around 10% of the population were enslaved within India at any time, mainly as agricultural labour for noblemen, with a 10% annual attrition by being worked to death or killed. So 500,000 per year killed only by slavery. In 340 years, that is 170 million killed off by castration, beatings and early death, so my numbers are lower than the straight calculations.

8. The Hindus or Animals

As you can see in below pic humans were sold like animals in India. Slaves exported from India in the Sultanate times was one of the main exports that earned aot of revenue. Exported Hindus numbered around 100,000 per annum, of which three fourth would die in transport (forced to walk without food to reach a slave market in Delhi, then Lahore, then carried off by ship into the Arab /middle East lands, forced to walk in the desert, then beaten to death by the slave owner. They never left any progeny in the middle east although they outnumbered the Sheikhs - they were castrated and worked to death - couldn't have children. Again let's be conservative and halve it - we get 85 million close to the number estimated by Lall. Delhi Sultanate was a time of horrors that beggar description. It's no wonder that the population of India halved. Many died in famines made worse by backbreaking taxes, but I am not counting those, though the Jizya is well known. Slavery numbers reduced to around 2 million during Mughal rule and their conditions were better so let's not count them at all. So around a Hundred Million men and women were killed in the most horrible conditions, counting only the slavery aspect of Islam. Tatar Khan raids of Ukraine carried off 10–20,000 slaves every year. So the numbers I have posted are in the same range as slavery in Ottoman empire. Given the larger size of our population and the ease of capturing Hindus after they had been rendered defenceless, my numbers are in the same order of magnitude. 9. The raid

Plunder Raids were mainly done for booty and were more focused and rarely took people (slavery raids vs plunder raids). Let's not count the deaths of those killed in the fight. That happened in every mediaeval battle in all countries. However the Turks and Afghans took great pleasure in butchering Hindus at the end of every victorious battle. Around 50,000 civilians would be butchered just for pleasure in any major city. Usually the Muslims were spared and the Hindus were killed. The killers were called Mingbashi - he who creates a tower of a 1000 skulls. For example Mohammed Ghazni would do wanton killing of civilians just for blood lust (similar to the Genghis Khan soldiers). That is well chronicled by his biographers. Assuming 2 big cities were plundered every year during 1000 to 1550 AD that's 11 million wanton killings. Since Mongols and Tamerlane (by then a Muslim) also attacked during this period, let's not count them separately but include all in the 11 millions butchered for no reason. Again that is a very conservative estimate because we know that Alauddin Khilji himself butchered maybe a million Hindus for no reason apart from all the others (fighters, other Muslims) that he killed. Not counting his general Malik Kafur who raided South India and perpetrated his own genocide. Tamerlane is well documented as having killed 17 million people which - was 5% of all humanity at the time. The majority of deaths were in India. However Afghan and Turkic Warlords were behaving the same way with Hindus - year after year - for a 1000 years.

10. The Butchering

The Islamic historians and scholars have recorded with utmost glee and pride of the slaughters of Hindus, forced conversions, abduction of Hindu women and children to slave-markets, and the destruction of temples carried out by the warriors of Islam during 800AD to 1700 AD. Millions of Hindus were converted to Islam by the sword in this period” (historian Durant cited in Khan p 201) And Rizwan Salim (1997) writes what the Arab invaders really did: ‘ savages at a very low level of civilisation and no culture worth the name, from Arabia and West Asia, began entering India from the early century onwards. Islamic invaders demolished countless Hindu temples, shattered uncountable sculpture and idols, plundered innumerable forts and palaces of Hindu kings, killed vast numbers of Hindu men and carried off Hindu women but many Indians do not seem to recognize that the alien Muslim marauders destroyed the historical evolution of the earth’s most mentally advanced civilization, the most richly imaginative culture, and the most vigorously creative society.” Of course Indians pre-Islam, fought, but it was NOT the practice to enslave or ravage, or massacre, or destroy religious sites, or damage crops and farmers. Battles were usually conducted on open soil between military personnel. (Khan p 205-207) There was no concept of ‘booty’ so Indians were unprepared for Islam’s onslaught. Indigenous Indians were forced to flee to jungles and mountains, or face grueling exploitation and taxes, slaughter or enslavement while their society was demeaned and destroyed. Muslims constantly attacked the indigenous, idolatrous population and also fought against each other in ceaseless revolts by generals, chiefs and princes during the entire time of Islamic rule!!

11. The intent

Initially ‘India’ included part of today’s Pakistan (Sindh), Bangladesh/Bengal and Kashmir. Hinduism and Buddhism flourished in Afghanistan pre the Islamic takeover (7th century). In the 16th century Afghanistan was divided between the Muslim Mogul (Mughal) Empire of India and the Safavids of Persia. Initially the godless Umayyads, allowed Hindus dhimmi status – possibly because of their large numbers, resistance to Islam and their value as a source of tax income. This violates Islamic text and law which demands death or conversion for idolaters and polytheists. When Sultan Iltutmish (1236) was asked why Hindus weren’t given the choice between death and Islam, he replied: “but at the moment in India…the Muslims are so few that they are like salt (in a large dish) …however after a few years when in the capital and the regions and all the small towns, when the Muslims are well established and the troops are larger, it would be possible to give Hindus the choice of death or Islam” (cited in KS Lal p 538). Can we learn anything from this???? Despite their supposed ‘dhimmi’ status, mass slaughter, mass forced conversion and mass enslavement with the resulting forced conversion to Islam were practiced throughout Islamic rule and into the 20th century as many demanded the idolaters/polytheists convert or die. Hindu fighters and males were slaughtered with women and children enslaved. Eunuch slavery was practiced on young boys.

12. The blood history - 1

The Ghaznivids-Turks from Ghazni, Afghanistan (997-1206) who subdued the Punjab started the great plunder of Akhand Bharat. From 17 raids (997-1030) Sultan Muhmud Ghazni (Turk from Afghanistan, 997-1030) sent hundreds of thousands of slaves to Ghanzi (Afghanistan) resulting in a loss of about 2 million people via slaughter or enslavement and sale outside India (Khan p 315). Chroniclers (eg Utbi, the sultan’s secretary) provide some numbers eg -from Thanesar, the Muslim army brought 200,000 captives back to Ghazni (Afghanistan). In 1019, 53,000 were taken. At one time the caliph’s 1/5th share was 150,000 suggesting 750,000 captives. 500,000 were taken in one campaign (at Waihind)(PS Lal p 551) Mahmud’s secretary al-Utbi records:“Swords flashed like lightening amid the blackness of clouds, and fountains of blood flowed like the fall of setting star. The friends of god defeated their opponents, the Musalmans wreaked their vengeance on the infidel enemies of god killing 15,000 of them, making them food of the beasts and birds of prey, god also bestowed on his friends such an amount of booty as was beyond all bounds and calculations, including 500,000 slaves beautiful men and women” (Khan p 191) The Ghaznivid’s ruled in the ‘Islamic sultanate of the Punjab’ till 1186. Attacks in Kashmir, Hansi, and districts of the Punjab resulted in mass slaughter and enslavement eg 100,000 in a 1079 attack in the Punjab (Tarik –i-Alfi in Khan p 276-7, PS Lal p 553.)

13. The blood history - 2

Under the Ghaurivid rulers (Turks) eg Muhammad Ghauri (Afghani) and his military commander then ruler, Qutbuddin Aibak (r1206-1210), the Delhi sultanate was set up. Mass beheadings, enslavements, forced conversions, plunder and the destruction of temples continued. Slaves were incredibly plentiful. In 1195, Aibak took 20,000 slaves from Raja Bhim and 50,000 at Kalinjar (1202) (PS Lal p 536). “even the poor (Muslim) householder became owner of numerous slaves.’ (PS Lal p 537). Through the 13/14th century ruled by the Khilji (Khaljis) and Tughlaq’s, slavery grew as Islam spread. Thousands of slaves were sold at a low price everyday (Khan p 280). Alauddin Khilji’s (r 1296-1316) capture of slaves was stupendous and he shackled, chained and humiliated slaves (Lal [c] p 540). In the sack of Somnath alone he: “took captive a great number of handsome and elegant maidens, amounting to 20,000 and children of both sexes ..more than the pen can enumerate. The Mohammadan army brought the country to utter ruin, destroyed the lives of inhabitants, and plundered the cities and captured their offspring.” (historian cited in Bostom p 641, Lal [c] p 540) Many thousands were massacred. Alauddin Khilji (r 1296-1316) had 50,000 slave BOYS in his personal service and 70,000 slaves worked continuously on his buildings.(Lal [c] p 541) Women practised Jauhar (burning or killing oneself to avoid enslavement and rape) and sati. The Sufi Amir Khusrau notes “the Turks, whenever they please, can seize, buy or sell any Hindu” (PS Lal p 541)

14. The blood history - 3

All over the Islamic world, the conquered were castrated, including in India. This was done so men could guard harems, provide carnal indulgence for rulers, give devotion to the ruler as they had no hope of a family of their own and of course, this quickly reduced the breeding stock of the conquered. Castration was a common practice throughout Muslim rule possibly contributing to the decline in India’s population from 200 million in 1000 CE to 170 million in 1500 CE. Once Sultan Bakhtiyar Khilji conquered Bengal in 1205, it became a leading supplier of castrated slaves. This remained the case into the Mogul period (1526-1857). Akbar the Great (1556-1605) owned eunuchs. Said Khan Chaghtai owned 1,200 eunuchs (an official of Akbar’s son Jahangir)! In Aurangzeb’s reign, in 1659 at Golkunda (Hyderabad), 22,000 boys were emasculated and given to Muslim rulers and governors or sold. Sultan Alauddin Khilji (r 1296-1316) had 50,000 boys in his personal service; Sultan Muhammad Tughlaq (r 1325-51) had 20,000 and Sultan Firoz Tughlaq (r 1351-1388) had 40,000 (Firoz Tulghlaq liked to collect boys in any way and had 180,000 slaves in total (PS Lal p 542). Several commanders under various sultans were eunuchs. Muslim historians record the ‘infatuation’ of sultans Mahmud Ghazni, Qutbuddin Aibak, and Sikandar Lodi –for handsome young boys! Sultan Mahmud was infatuated by his Hindu commander Tilak.

15. The blood history - 4 (Temples)

Bairam Khan butchered 300,000 Hindus after battle of Panipat, not counting soldiers and Muslims. Further reprisals against Alwar and other places of Rajasthan killed off about 2 million Hindus - a majority were civilian population. Similar were the attacks of Aurangazeb. So another 9 millions killed during and after Mughal rule, including the terrors unleashed by Tipu Sultan. Building a tower of skulls was the way the Warlords celebrated. Thus a total of 20 million civilians killed for no reason at all, even extending into the modern period. Temple raids were particularly cruel and done repeatedly. All the Pujaris and their family and the surrounding civilian population would be killed wantonly. Around 10,000 people on average killed in a major temple raid, 1000 in a minor raid. Maybe 10 major temple raids in a year all over India for 500 years is 5000 raids. That's 50 million people killed just in raiding temples. Somewhere or other in India, some temple was being raided by some Muslim throughout Muslim rule. North Indian Hindus switched from marrying in the morning (as in ancient India) to marrying in the night. Because if they celebrated anything openly, the Afghan pillagers would attack the wedding party and plunder the guests. And the bride and groom would have horrors visited on them instead of celebration.

16. The blood history - 5 (Kafir Taxes)

Around 100,000 Hindus would be killed whenever the rulers thought the people needed to be punished or they protested temple tax or jaziya. One such action took place every year somewhere or the other. In 600 years that's 60 million people. Again Muslims would be generally spared and Hindus would be targetted. Only sometimes would Muslim population be targetted usually by Alauddin Khilji or Aurangazeb, who were as cruel to their own people as Hindus. As can be seen, the Mongol like behaviour of the Muslims lasted from 700 AD when they first came near India to early 19th Century when Tipu Sultan and the Afghan raiders like Ahmed Shah Durrani bit the dust. They carried on a genocide of Hindus throughout their reign. Killed about 230 million innocent civilians in sheer institutionalised butchery. The 70 million killed by the Mongol Hordes pale in comparison. And yet the Hindu Genocide of 230 million is swept under the carpet. Let me give some perspective on population dynamics within India - since people continue to be amazed at the 230 million number. Mongol Khan killings resulted in 70 million people butchered - that was one seventh of humanity at that time. Thats well established history. But that's focused on a small period of time. India is a big country, and the butchery and savagery went on for a period of 1100 years - from 700 to 1800 AD. The population of India was from 60 to 172 million during the period of Muslim rule. That's a huge population. But 230 million is a proportion not of this total but over centuries. 230 million total deaths means 230,000 deaths every year for a 1000 years!! Have you ever heard of this sort of persistent genocide any where in the world???

99.99% of Hindus are not even aware of the Hindu slaughter of 1757. On 28 Feb 1757, Jat prince Jawahar Singh with 5000 men offered resistance against Ahmad Shah Abdali's forces near Mathura for 9 hrs, but in vain. What pains me is that fact that in the movie “Battle of Panipat” they have whitewashed the character of Ahmad Shah Abdali!!! The forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali had taken Jawahar Singh by surprise and he along with his army were ready to die but not surrender to these barbarians!! But the Afgan forces had a nominal advantage and they slaughter every single Jat soldier within 9 hours. After that, they massacred 1000s of devotees who had gathered in Vrindavan for celebrating Holi and plundered the city. 19. Hindu Genocide - A Modern Chronology 1947

The demography of West Pakistan underwent a drastic change during partition of India: there was an influx of 4 million Muslims into Pakistan side, and more than 7 million Hindus and Sikhs were expunged from their homes, murdered, their properties looted. Hindus and Sikhs suffered unspeakable brutalities at the hands of the Pakistan Army and Islamist mobs. Trains and buses were burnt alive, women raped, Hindus sent on their death marches from out of Pakistan to India.

HINDU EXODUS FROM PAKISTAN 1947-1958

Due to ongoing atrocities, forcible conversion and murders of Hindus in Pakistan after Partition, atleast 4.12 million Hindus escaped from Pakistan, into India in the decade.

MIRPUR MASSACRE 25 Nov, 1947

After the first Kashmir War, Hindu and Sikh refugees in today's "Azad Kashmir" were brutally massacred. Mirpur and Rajouri districts were worst affected. Before the massacre, the district was home to 114K Hindus and Sikhs. After the massacre only about 790 remained. Rest were either murdered, or internally displaced.

MAHARASHTRAN BRAHMAN GENOCIDE 1948

Following the assassination of M. K. Gandhi by Nathuram Godse, with Narayan Apte, who were Maharashtrian Brahmins, Brahmin localities of Pune and Satara saw a Hindu Genocide of Maharashtrian Brahmins, orchestrated by Indian National Congress, along with other Brahmin-hating groups. As per first hand accounts, apprx 8000 Hindu Brahmins were murdered, their properties arsoned.

MASSACRES OF EAST BENGAL 1950

The Muslim riots of East Bengal in 1950 are one of the most blood curdling massacre of Hindus, which history books omit. Atleast 5.6 million Hindus were murdered or forcibly converted or forced to flee.

RAJSHAHI MASSACRE 1962

Ethnic cleansing of Hindus of East Pakistan in Rajshahi district: houses were torched, Hindus were murdered and women raped. An estimated 3000 Hindus were killed.

EAST PAKISTAN MASSACRE OF HINDUS 1964

Selective targeting and ethnic cleansing of Bengali Hindus in (then) East Pakistan due to an alleged theft of Prophet Mohd's hair from the Hazratbal Shrine in Jammu & Kashmir, India. Extreme violence seen in Dhaka, Khulna, Sylhet, Narayanganj, Rajshahi, Mymensingh. Hundreds of Hindu majority villages were burnt to ashes. More than 5200 Hindus were brutally killed or burnt alive, 100K Hindus left their properties and emigrated into India, and more than 300 women were abducted. Hindus were prohibited from religious gathering and were forcibly converted (numbers unknown) and force fed beef.

GOPASHTAMI GENOCIDE OF HINDU SAINTS 1966

The then PM Indira Gandhi, who had won the election on the promise of ban on cow slaughter, refused to fulfill her promise and faced a protest by lakhs of Hindu saints and devotees outside the Parliament. She ordered the police to open fire on the group. First hand accounts state that atleast 5000 Hindu saints and devotees were massacred in one day, their bodies disposed outside the city.

BIJON SETU MASSACRE 30 Apr 1982

In this horrifying incident, 16 sannyasis (monks) and one sannyasini of Anand Marg were dragged out of taxis, beaten to death in 3 different locations in broad daylight. The most horrifying part of this tragedy is that 1000s of spectators looked on, and nobody helped the sannyasis. The attack was orchestrated by Communists in West Bengal.

MASS MURDERS OF HINDUS BY KHALISTANI MILITANTS Jan - June 1984

23 Feb, 1984: 11 Hindus pulled off from trains and buses and killed by Khalistani militants; 27 more wounded. 1 Jan to 3 June, 1984: 298 Hindus murdered in violence all over Punjab. Unofficial number of Hindus killed was well over 500.

OPERATION BLUE STAR 3-8 June 1984

In the crossfire between the Army, on instruction of then PM Indira Gandhi, and the Khalistani militants, 1280 terrorists and 1720 civilians, mostly Sikhs and some Hindus, were killed in the Harminder Sahib Temple complex.

KHALISTANI MILITANTS HIJACK PLANE 24 August 1984

To stage support for their cause, 9 Khalistani militants hijacked an Indian Airlines jetliner Airbus A300, on a domestic flight from Chandigarh to Srinagar with 264 passengers and crew on board, and demanded the plane be flown to the United States. The flight was forced to land in Lahore, where 6 passengers were released. The terrorists gave war cries of "Long Live Khalistan" and "Long Live Bhindranwale" and threatened to blow up the plane if their demands were not met. The plane finally landed in Dubai, where the UAE Defense Minister got the passengers released.

SIKH GENOCIDE 1984

Following the assassination of Indira Gandhi by her 2 Sikh bodyguards, mass violence started out against the Sikhs, mostly led by Congress senior leaders and supporters. Atleast 10,000 Sikhs were murdered and another 50,000 displaced. Many women were raped. Another incident in the same year took place. Extra judicial killing of more than 25,000 Sikh by Indian police and armed forces, post 1984, whose bodies had been disposed of in crematoria across Punjab as unidentified unclaimed.

SERIAL BOMB BLASTS IN DELHI 1985 10-11 May, 1985

85 Hindus massacred in serial bomb blasts across Delhi, UP and Haryana, staged by Khalistani terrorists. Bombs were planted in trains and buses and crowded places.

AIR INDIA BOMBING BY KHALISTANI TERRORISTS 23 June, 1985

Following the public proclamation by Khalistan terrorist Talwinder Singh Parmar to "kill 50,000 Hindus," Air India Flight 182, from Toronto to New Delhi was bombed while in Irish airspace. All 329 passengers and crew were killed. Almost all were Hindus.

14 June: Sikh militants killed 25 people in two attacks. July: 80 bus passengers killed in Fatehabad on three Haryana Roadways buses. 6 Aug: 12 people gunned down. Before shooting them, victims were forced to chant "long live the sikh nation". 19 Aug: 11 people killed by sikh militants including a hindu man and his baby son. 28 Sep: 5 killed and 8 injured, firing near Geetha Bhawan, Alawalpur. 20 Oct: 12 persons shot dead at various places in Delhi on Diwali day.

Jan: 12 people and a hindu leader killed by sikh extremists. Feb: Bombs exploded by Babbar Khalsa in Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur and Patiala. 12 to 13 persons killed and nearly 50 injured. 2 March: 8 members of a family killed. 3 March: 35 persons shot dead, 50 others injured, indiscriminate firing at a festival gathering by terrorists. 31 March: 18 members of a Rajput family shot dead at village the Rajbah under police station. 2 Apr: Sikh gunmen stormed into huts and houses across Punjab state and killed 37 people, including 7 children 15 May: 26 persons killed, 100 others injured in different incidents 16 May: 40 persons gunned down, 100 others injured in different incidents 17 May: 35 labourers massacred. 19 June: 2 bombs blasted during Ramayana (TV serial) telecast at a shop, killing 15 persons 21 June: Bomb blast kills 3 in new delhi market. 7 Sep: 15 rail passengers killed, 25 injured at Rure Aasal railway station.

EXODUS OF KASHMIRI HINDUS 1989-1990

On January 19, 1990, Bharat witnessed the mass exodus of Kashmiri Hindus. They were given 3 options: CONVERT (to Islam), LEAVE, DIE. An estimated 300,000-800,000 Kashmiri Hindus emptied out of the Kashmir Valley overnight. Many died, and do not live to tell the tales of horror.

Jan: 8 Hindu villagers shot down by militants 7 March: 32 shot dead in indiscriminate firing at crowded market, Abohar 28 May: Khalistan Commando Force attacked a farm, killed 13 migrant workers, including 11 Hindus. 30 May: Khalistani extremists kill 10 in attack in a market, Ferozepur.

MASSACRE OF KARSEVAKS IN AYODHYA 1990

30 Oct 1990: Atleast 40,00 Hindu devotees or karsevaks were headed for the Babari Masjid site, to reclaim it as a Hindu temple. Curfew was imposed by then UP government, and atleast 28,000 policemen and CRPF were deployed around Ayodhya. The Kothari brothers managed to put a Hindu flag on the Babari Masjid, for which they were shot at & killed. The police opened fire on the crowd, rained lathis, and treated the karsevaks with no humanity. They shot people in the head and chest, with an intention to kill them. 2 Nov 1990: Karsevaks again marched to the Babari Masjid site, and some of them managed to damage the structure of the mosque. The police opened fire again on the crowd. The "official" death toll by UP government and police was only 16, which is hard to believe. Unofficial numbers are in hundreds. As per then media reports, atleast 400 died from wounds or in the stampede. Dead bodies were disposed off in the Sarayu river, and some were cremated in unknown places, depriving the dead of even their last rites.

EXODUS OF BRU TRIBALS FROM MIZORAM 1997

Bru tribals are an indigenous tribe in India, who follow Sanatani practices of worshiping gods, nature, elements and are considered a tribal sect of Buddhism. In 1995, Mizo Christians demanded the removal of Brus from Mizoram, contending that they are not native to Mizoram. In 1997, 1391 Bru houses in 41 villages were burnt down and several people were raped and killed. More than 30,000 Bru people were forced to leave Mizoram to Tripura.

CHAMBA MASSACRE 1998 3 Aug, 1998

the 1998 Chamba massacre was the killing of thirty-five Hindus by Hizbul Mujahideen, in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh in India on 3 August 1998. Another 11 Hindus were left injured.

KASHMIR MASSACRES 2000 1-2 Aug, 2000

This included multiple massacres of Hindus in Amarnath yatra, Anantnag, Doda, Kupwara, Kayar and Mirbazar-Qazigund and Sandoo-Acchabal. Total up to 105 or more killed and at least 62 injured in coordinated attacks on Hindus.

BHOLA VIOLENCE AGAINST HINDU WOMEN 2001 2001

Hindu minorities in Bangladesh were caught in the political crossfire between the parties, and persecuted on the assumption of favoring the Awami League party. More than 200 Hindu women were gang raped and sexually assaulted by Islamist mobs. The women were from 8 to 70 yrs old. Their houses were looted, properties destroyed.

HINDU EXODUS FROM BANGLADESH 2001

Following the large-scale violence towards Hindus in Bangladesh, from 5000 to 20,000 Hindus migrated from Bangladesh to adjoining Indian states of Tripura, West Bengal, Meghalaya & Assam. No official estimates were available, but atleast 200,000 Hindus are suspected to be internally displaced.

GUJARAT RIOTS, GODHARA 2002

A few coaches of the Sabarmati Express were set on fire by a Muslim mob in a planned violence against Hindu pilgrims who were returning from Ayodhya after a religious ritual. 59 Hindus burned alive in Sabarmati train attack and 254 killed in subsequent riots.

ATTACK ON AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE, GUJARAT 2002

On 24 September, 2002, two armed Jihadi terrorists attacked the Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, killing 34 Hindus and injuring another 80. They used hand grenades and automatic weapons.

NADIMARG MASSACRE, KASHMIR 2003

Kashmiri Pandits were dragged out of homes, including children, and brutally murdered by Islamists. Atleast 24 Hindus were murdered.

SERIAL BOMB BLASTS IN DELHI 2005

Serial bomb blasts in crowded markets during Diwali season in the heart of the capital of India clouded Diwali celebrations for Hindus. Atleast 64 were killed and 100 injured. The attack was by an Islamist "revolutionary" group.

BOMB BLASTS IN HANUMAN TEMPLE & RAILWAY STATION VARANASI, 2006 2006

Twin bomb blasts took place in the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple near BHU in Varanasi and the Railway Station on the evening of a day in March, 2006. The blasts were aimed at Hindu devotees and meant to cause maximum damage. As per official numbers, 28 were dead and 101 injured. Lashkar-e-Taiba militant outfit was responsible for the blasts.

TAMIL GENOCIDE IN SRI LANKA 2009

In the wake of the conflict between the Sri Lankan government and the Sri Lankan Tamil community, led by the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam), the Civil War came to an end upon the killing of the leader of LTTE. Due to the systematic destruction of Tamil culture, disenfranchisement of Sri Lankan Tamils and massacres of civilians by the Sri Lankan govt, the original demand of a separate Elam state came to an end, paving the way for mass atrocities upon Tamils. 300,000 Sri Lankan Tamils were held in Nazi-style concentration camps in Northeastern districts of Sri Lanka. Since 1983 Sri Lankan state has exterminated approximately 300,000 Sri Lankan Tamils, primarily Hindu.

POST-POLL VIOLENCE AGAINST HINDUS IN BANGLADESH Nov 2013 - Jan 2014

Elections have started to mean only one thing for Hindu minorities in Bangladesh: persecution. Hindus in Malopara village faced attacks after the elections in Nov 2013. Atleast 180 people were killed in the post-poll violence. Armed Islamist mobs attacked Hindu minorities in Jessore, Satkhira, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, Chittagong, Nilphamari, Kurgram, Lalmonirhat, Satkhira, Gaibandha and Dinajpur. International aid agencies estimated as many as 5,000 families were affected.

HINDU WOMEN SOLD AS SLAVES May, 2016

Hindu women from India (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) were found to be sold "like products" in the Gulf--Saudi Arabia and Bahrain--for £2000-£4000 only. They are told to travel in lure of better pay and work. But they were found to be physically abused, mistreated and not paid for any work. An estimated 20,000 women were detained in poor living conditions in the Gulf.

50 HINDU HOUSEHOLDS ATTACKED IN BANGLADESH 30 Oct, 2016

Atleast 17 Hindu temples and more than 50 households in a Hindu village were attacked by a mob in Bangladesh's Nasirnagar, leaving more than 100 injured. Around 124 people were accused in the attack, but later all freed on bail. A similar attack in the same village was repeated in 2018, where 5 households were attacked, leaving 9 injured.

MASSACRE OF MYANMAR HINDUS 2017

Hindus of Myanmar were embroiled in the violence against the Buddhists in Myanmar by an Islamic militant group called ARSA. 120 Hindus were murdered, women raped, and more than 30,000 became refugees and escaped to Bangladesh, with another 11,700 Hindus and Buddhists internally displaced. In Bangladesh, the Myanmar Hindu refugees faced further atrocities and discrinimation.

MISSIONARIES CONVERT 300-400 HINDUS PER DAY April 2018

A group of missionaries illegally start converting Hindus in North India at the rate of 300-400 people PER DAY. Evangelism, especially by foreigners, is illegal in India. Religious conversion by deceitful means is a criminal offence, and conversion at this scale is a cultural genocide.

ISIS BOMB SIKHS IN AFGHANISTAN July, 2018

In a suicide bomb attack, ISIS attacked a group of Sikhs on their way to visiting President Ashraf Ghani in the city of Jalalabad. The only Sikh candidate who planned to contest the forthcoming elections was killed in the attack. 19 people, mostly Sikhs, were killed.

ISLAMIST TERRORIST ATTACK ON INDIAN ARMY IN PULWAMA Feb, 2019

A suicide bomber by the name of Adil Dar, part of JeT Islamic terrorist group of Kashmir, drove a vehicle packed with ammunition and explosives into a convoy of buses with paramilitary police, killing 40 men, injuring many others. His video was released online later, where he claims to obtain 'jannat' by killing "Gaumutra drinking Hindus."

ETHNIC CLEANSING OF HINDUS & SIKHS IN AFGHANISTAN 1992-2021

In the year 1992, there were approximately 220,000 Hindus and Sikhs in Afghanistan.
